Welcome

Welcome to The Boodles Boxing Ball 2008 Website. Following the huge success of the ball in 2006 we are delighted to be organising another one… this time on Saturday June 7th 2008. The last event produced extensive international media coverage and raised nearly £100,000 for SPARKS which funds children's medical research.

About

Like last time, it will be held in The Royal Lancaster Hotel and will be on an even more impressive scale. Six boys and two girls from the London social scene will be trained over a six month period to become amateur boxers and fight in front of a crowd 700 strong. Like last time, the evening will begin with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course dinner and auction. The highlight of the evening will be the four fights fought in the centre of the room after which guests will retire to the reception area where Kitts Nightclub will have been set up exclusively for the night.

Charity

This time the 'STARLIGHT FOUNDATION' is to be the benefiting charity – Starlight grants wishes for terminally ill children. We are firmly committed to maintaining our biennial ball as the largest and best known charity boxing event in the UK raising ever larger sums for charity. read more
